Java 1.5 compatible JREs
Apogee Software is pleased to announce Aphelion JREs compatible with Sun's J2SE 1.5 platform with
respect to the Java 1.5 features relevant for use by Java applications targeted at embedded systems.
Specifically, each J2SE 1.5 compatible JRE will accepts the JAR files in the Java 1.5 format and
will include:
- Supports for Java 1.5 generics, varargs, enhanced for loop, autoboxing, static imports, type
safe collection classes and enums, thread pools, and concurrent processing APIs defined by JSR-166.
- J2SE 1.5 compatible APIs from the GNU Classpath needed for implementing such supports.
